A road was partially blocked in a Suffolk village by a huge amount of fly-tipped rubbish.

The rubbish was dumped on a road in Crowfield last week.

In a picture shared by Mid Suffolk District Council on Twitter, a mattress and several waste bags can be seen among the pile.

"Quickly checking the waste carrier you use is registered, not only helps prevent incidents like this happening on your doorstep, it also avoids you getting a fine too," said a spokesperson for Mid Suffolk District Council.
