Eleven new scholars are set to join the academy at Ipswich Town next season.
The boys all featured in the Blues’ Hospital Cup game with Norwich last Thursday and returned to the ground the next day for their official unveiling.
Toby Egan, Dylan Crowe, Ashton Henry, Luca Vega, Bailey Clements, Henry Barley, Kian Ronan, Idris El Mizouni, Armando Dobra, Luenes Foudil and Thomas Hughes have all signed with the club where they will hope to eventually break into the first team.
Under-18 manager, and former player, Alan Lee, said: “I’ve been in their shoes and it’s a really exciting time
“There’s so much ahead of them, and I know them quite well because a lot of them have had experience in the 18s this season.
“They’ve become professional, so the hard work starts now. It’s a tough environment, being in full-time football, but we’ve got some good characters, and some good players so we’ll do what we can to make educate them on what they need to do going forward.”
