The dust has barely settled on Ipswich Town’s 2016-17 campaign but already, there is plenty to talk about with regards to the Blues.
In the past week, Town have been linked with Glasgow Rangers striker Joe Garner who, if he stays at Ibrox, could be lining up against departing Ipswich defender Christophe Berra, at Hearts, next season.
Berra himself, has spoken to our chief football writer Stuart Watson, this week, and an exclusive interview with the Scottish international will be featured in Saturday’s EADT.
The aforementioned Garner is thought to be on the market for around £500,000 and Blues boss Mick McCarthy could well use the extra money Town have accrued from Daryl Murphy winning promotion with Newcastle, to land him.
There are also several free agents out there that could potentially do a job at Portman Road and this week, Stuart has listed some realistic targets that could tempt Blues boss McCarthy.
Town have also announced another friendly game this week, Gillingham away, as the Blues’ pre-season programme continues to take shape.
All this and much more will be discussed on the Ipswich Star’s weekly Facebook Live video.
The broadcast kicks off at 12pm, presented by Chris Brammer and Stuart, and the duo will read out the best questions, comments and contributions to the live feed towards the end of the programme.
