It was just one of many Halloween-themed half-term activites taking place around Suffolk this week. See more days out ideas here But there is more to pumpkins that simply being a canvas for your creative cut-outs - a trainee nutritional therapist who uses the hadle Wendyswholeworld and who lives on the Essex/Suffolk border, has been sharing her cookery photos.
The first shows slices of roasted pumpkin and she says: “An hour ago this pumpkin was sitting in our greenhouse. Now it’s roasted and ready to be transformed into a delicious soup.”
And the second shot shows said pumpkin suit, complete with toasted seeds on top. The caption reads: “From garden to bowl in just a few hours.
“Although the seed to harvest process took slightly longer! Roasted pumpkin soup.”
These amber pumpkins were home grown in Suffolk by Instagram’s HollieMadeline who shared this photo with her followers.
