A huge fire has broken out at a barn that contains straw on the outskirts of one Suffolk town.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to Occold Road near Eye at about 12.10pm today, October 5.
According to a spokesman for the service, the barn is "well alight".
The fire is 40m by 20m in size.
Eleven appliances have been sent to the scene to fight the blaze.
Engines from Diss, Harleston, Woodbridge, Framlingham, Leiston, Saxmundham, Halesworth, Stowmarket and Haverhill are in attendance.
Police are also being sent to Occold Road to assist with traffic management.
Local residents are being advised to close all windows and doors due to smoke from the fire.
A 'stop call' was put in place at 5.15pm
