A highly-anticipated food and drink festival in a Suffolk town has announced its full line-up.

The Stowmarket Food and Drink Festival will return on Sunday, July 7.

Organisers have revealed the full list of stalls and that a number of top chefs will give demonstrations on the live cooking stage. 

Last year’s festival saw record-breaking attendance, with crowds of more than 8,000 people.

The festival has confirmed that vendors attending will include: Bagel or Beigel, Pimp My Fish UK, Wright's, Azahar Spanish Food, Manna Seoul, Meat & Greet BBQ, Smokeydeez, PECK Fried Chicken, Fully Loaded Fries and TIKKA TONIC.

Along with: Wagyu Burgers and Street Food, Cardoso’s Kitchen, Bad Boi Burritos, Petite Pancakes, Grab a Burger, TFI Vegan, SmokeBox, Papa L's Lebanese Grill, Tornado Potatoes
and German Sausages.

The festival announced the news in a social media post that read:" Treat your taste buds to an explosion of flavours from our amazing street food traders at Stowmarket Food & Drink Festival 2024 on Sunday 7th July!"

The festival has also revealed its drinks and refreshment line up, which includes a range of prosecco, cocktail, craft beer, wine and gin bars, along with some fruity smoothie and juice vendors.

A spokesperson also confirmed that this year will see the return of The Live Kitchen Theatre, an experience where top-quality local chefs prepare mouth-watering dishes with seasonal ingredients and the audience get to sample the delicious dishes.

The chefs that will be presenting are Myles Craven from The Butt and Oyster in Ipswich, Sam Sturman from The Bull in Troston, Lee Cooper from The Auberge in Yaxley, Stuart Oliver from Kesgrave Hall and Mark Poynton from MJP Restaurants.

Stowmarket Town Council said: "We are so excited for The Stowmarket Food and Drink Festival. The festival was attended by 8000+ people last year and we are hoping for bigger numbers this year!

"There isn’t just Food & Drink but also children’s activities including a sandpit, sensory boards for the little ones, Bread making & marshmallow roasting for the older ones.

"As well as the live kitchen theatre, throughout the day the stage will be showcasing a talented line-up of top quality local chefs preparing mouth-watering dishes with seasonal ingredients which visitors can get the chance to sample!"
