Plans to build an affordable housing development in a Suffolk village have been approved.
Flagship Group will build the 29-home estate on land north of Station Road in Haughley, near Stowmarket.
The development will be a mix of bungalows and two, three and four bedroom homes situated around a village green with space for a children's play park.
Of the homes, 16 will be let for social rent by housing association Samphire and will be allocated to families on local council waiting lists.

Mark Williams, head of land and planning development at Flagship, said: "We are thrilled to have been given approval for this development. It paves the way for much-needed affordable housing for families.
"We are looking forward to starting construction and bringing this vision to life."
Building work for the development is due to begin in November and it is hoped the first homes will be finished by October next year.
