Staff at a homeware and flower business say they are "delighted" that their shop has opened in a mid Suffolk town.

W&M Smith opened in 24 Bury Road in Stowmarket on Monday morning after months of preparation. 

(Image: W&M Smith) The shop sells a range of products including flowers, homeware products, candles, plant pots, cake supplies and craft supplies. 

The company announced its opening in a social media post which read: "After weeks of moving and updating things, we are delighted to announce our new shop in Stowmarket is officially OPEN!"

(Image: W&M Smith) They added: "We are overwhelmed by the support we've had from the local community and we'd like to thank everyone for making our opening day so special. 

The business was previously selling its products online and via a barn store based in Middlewood Green, however, it announced the news of its move to Stowmarket in August.

(Image: W&M Smith) The shop is open from 10am to 7pm on Mondays and Thursdays, from 10am until 5pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and until 4pm on Saturdays.
