A 52-year-old drug driver who was arrested after a member of the public was concerned about his driving in the car park at Tesco's in Stowmarket has been jailed for 30 months.
Dragomir Draganov was found in possession of two bags of cocaine and £376 cash and a drug test showed he was over the limit for cocaine, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
A further four bags of cocaine were found in his underwear during a strip search, said Mark Halsey, prosecuting.
Draganov of Park Lane, Croydon, admitted possession of cocaine with intent to supply in August last year, drug driving and possessing cocaine with intent to supply in June this year.
Mr Halsey said that in August 2023 Draganov was stopped as he was driving a Peugeot and was found in possession of 26 wraps containing 17g of cocaine.
He was also in possession of some bicarbonate of soda and four mobile phones.
A further nine bags of cocaine were found during an intimate search at a police station.
The court heard that Draganov had started using crack cocaine after having problems in his marriage.
He found his wages as a delivery driver weren’t enough to fund his habit and he had started buying cocaine from his dealer and selling it on after packaging it up.
